Welcome to Tiburon and Belvedere
A scenic, active lifestyle overlooking the San Francisco Bay
Tiburon and Belvedere are charming, scenic gems on the edge of Richardson Bay. Multi-leveled homes perched on sloping hillsides boast sweeping views, while residents enjoy proximity to many prestigious yacht clubs, waterfront eateries, and cozy shops on historic Ark Row. Parks and open green spaces located against a backdrop of lush treetops often host cultural events, such as wine tastings, concerts, and beer festivals, among others. This attractive town offers residents an authentic Bay Area experience to those lucky enough to make its discovery.
Cool and crisp temperatures throughout the year allow locals to enjoy an active lifestyle and endless days spent in the great outdoors. Yachting, hikes, and bike rides are popular options. The San Francisco Yacht Club, the oldest club of its kind in the region and west of the Mississippi, was established in 1869 and operates a full-service restaurant and bar, in addition to holding cruises, regattas, and boat parades. Another nearby option, The Corinthian Yacht Club, is the second-oldest yacht club in northern California. Along the bay's shores, five-star restaurants serve classic dishes with a Californian flair. On the southern tip of fittingly named Paradise Drive, The Caprice is a serene establishment specializing in exquisitely prepared comfort food. Steak, lamb, and crab cakes are served atop white tablecloths with dramatic views of the San Francisco Bay in the background. Salt & Pepper, home to a more casual dining experience, prepares the best coastal California fare in intimate digs on Tiburon’s adorable Main Street. Another popular eatery is located just across the street at Luna Blu. Italian comfort food, like burrata and bolognese are star dishes, alongside cioppino, a classical San Francisco favorite, rooted in local Italian culture.
Locals stay active by hiking one of the many trails or enjoying time in one of the spacious parks. Shoreline Park is one of the Bay Area’s most Instagrammable spots to enjoy a picnic lunch, take a stroll, and enjoy breathtaking sunsets. Other active entertainment can be enjoyed at the RCP Tiburon Mile, a premier open-water swimming race featuring international athletes and several Olympians.
Residents enjoy gathering at other local events like Friday Nights on Main. Main Street is closed to traffic throughout the summer and fall, so locals can dine on patios, dance in the streets, and enjoy live music. More live music can be enjoyed at Concerts in the Park in Belvedere every August through Labor Day weekend. The concerts are free to the public, as they have been for the past 25 years.
